I am deeply honored and humbled to stand before you today as the newly elected President of the Florida Dental Hygienists’ Association. To be entrusted with this role, especially during such an upcoming milestone year, the 100th anniversary of FDHA is both an incredible privilege, and tremendous responsibility. I will serve our association with dedication, humility, and immense gratitude.For a century, FDHA has been a powerful voice for our profession, advocating for dental hygienists, advancing oral health, and serving the people of Florida with commitment and integrity. We stand on the shoulders of visionary leaders who, in 1926, dared to imagine what dental hygiene could become. Today, we honor their legacy; not simply remembering their work, but by continuing it, expanding it, and passing it forward.
