As dental hygienists, we are more than caretakers of smiles—we are catalysts for change. My theme of, "One Spark Starts a Fire," reminds us that even the smallest action can ignite a movement. Each of us carries the potential to be that spark, whether through the care we provide, the patients we educate, or the advocacy we champion for our profession. In the face of challenges, let us not underestimate the power of our individual contributions. One spark of passion, one conversation, one act of leadership can inspire others, and together, we can ignite a fire of progress that transforms our profession and enhances the health of our communities. Let us embrace the responsibility we hold and push forward with purpose. The future of dental care is in our hands, and it starts with the spark we choose to light today.
