My name is Jessica Walker and I am a proud dental hygienist. I love my profession and I believe we are approaching some big and exciting changes. I want to do my part and be an active part of that change.
My theme for this year is CONNECT & EMPOWER. I believe that with one, you organically gain the other. It is not only what you know, but who you know that has the ability to help change the trajectory of your life. So I challenge all of my fellow dental hygienists this year to get comfortable with getting a little uncomfortable. Put yourself out there. There’s no magic formula: Show up and say yes. Connect with others and empower yourself.
