EACH ONE REACH ONE
EACH ONE TEACH ONE
A favorite fish of many hobbyists is the Japanese carp, commonly known as the Koi.
The fascinating thing about the Koi is that if you keep it in a small fish bowl it will
only grow to be two or three inches long. Place the Koi in a large pond and it may
get as long as a foot and a half. However, when placed in a huge lake when it can
really stretch out, it has the potential to reach sizes up to three feet.
You"ve probably already figured out the simple point to this illustration. Our
membership determines our growth. Strength in numbers and increased numbers
equal higher visibility, political clout and financial security for our professional
association.
If we all reach one and teach one, there is no limit to how large we can grow.
We are limited only by the size of the bowl we are swimming in.
If each of us reaches out
and brings in a new member, and each new member reaches out and brings in a new member, the possibilities are endless.
This is the Member Councils' challenge to you. FDHA can be a small fish in a little
pond or a big fish in a big pond. The choice is yours.
No individual prizes, no free lunches, registration, or special recognition. We will all be winners as our
membership grows.
